This is an example of an intermediate terminal used in industrial machinery. The product measures 60 × 82 × 22 mm and is made of copper and PBT resin. This intermediate terminal features a power distribution busbar with 3 mm thick terminals processed by metal stamping. When insert molding thick terminals of 3 mm, greater dimensional variation and movement can occur, requiring more frequent maintenance of mold inserts compared to conventional insert molding. To address this challenge, we prepare multiple mold inserts with different dimensions to accommodate the expected variations during the insert molding process. This approach improves productivity, extends mold life, and ensures an efficient and stable molding process.
